Norsenet is manufacturers of industrial and technical textiles, fishing nets, sport nets, mine safety nets, construction safety nets, mining net and fabric support systems, air cargo nets,transpiration cargo nets and geosynthetics

Norsenet (Pty) Ltd was established in 1971 & is situated in the industrial area of Vredenburg along the West Coast. Since establishment it has been suppliers to the fishing (net design, manufacture, sales and maintenance) for both local and export markets.

Norsenet has supplied the mining industry for the last 25 years with cost effective RSS Grout Packs and has developed and supplies Yield Packs as a substitute for wooden packs. In January 2008, Norsenet undertook an extensive testing program in Mine Safety Nets and concluded over 200 tests in total. This offers an extensive choice of alternatives enabling the most cost effective option to be chosen. Norsenet is currently supplying over 10 mines with safety nets and is developing specific nets for alternative uses with numerous other mines. Norsenet is also developing its own testing facility where load deformation graphs can be plotted.

Norsenet’s emphasis is in providing innovative and practical products at cost effective prices to the market backed up by extensive research.In our employ we have a qualified rock engineer who acts as our technical sales representative on the mines.
